We take your experience and trust extremely seriously.

This means that we ensure that any information that you may need to be able to make informed decisions when using our services or website is readily available to you and correct. Also, we promise that we will 'never' share or in any other way use your personal data other than to deliver the services and products you have asked for.

If you have any questions, you are always welcome to message the Fixel team.

Thank you.

Terms of use

We politely ask that you use the website fairly, and do not copy, claim ownership of or in any way duplicate or clone our hard work.

You can use any of the variety of contact channels on our website to let us know your experience of using the site or our services. We would always appreciate the chance to improve wherever we can from any feedback you may have.

Privacy policy

What our privacy promise says

Our privacy promise covers how we treat your data and put you in control of what happens to it. It’s based around three principle areas.

Transparency

We will always explain clearly what data we’re collecting about you and why. We will only collect or retain the data we need to:

  • give you a better experience

  • improve our services to you

  • fulfil our responsibilities to provide the services and products you have requested

Choice

Whilst we must retain your personal data in order to deliver your service or products, we understand that many people will want the option to have their personal data removed from our records. Whilst this decision might affect the services we can deliver, we will always work to your preferences.

Trust

Your trust is very important to us. So we’re committed to keeping your data safe and secure. We can confirm that this is the case. All customer data is retained in highly encrypted safe digital folders, which are also heavily password and virus protected. We do not keep any customer, client, or provider data in written/hard copy forms. This eliminates any GDPR breach, and any risk of your personal data being lost or otherwise misused.

We promise to never sell your personal details to anyone and to only use your data to do what you have asked us to do. Once your service and/or products have been delivered by us, you can ask us to remove your details, which we will do within 5 days of your request being made.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files which are transferred to your computer or mobile when you visit a website or app.

We use them to:

  • Remember information about you, so you don’t have to give it to us again. And again. And again

  • Keep you signed in, even on different devices

  • Help us understand how people are using our services, so we can make them better

  • Help us personalise your personal experience of using our website.

  • To find out if our emails have been read and if you find them useful

There are different types of cookies:

First-party cookies

These cookies are set by the website you’re visiting, and only that website can read them.

Third-party cookies

These cookies are set by someone other than the owner of the website you’re visiting. Some Flixel Studios web pages may also contain content from other sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. We have no control over third-party cookies - you can turn them off yourself, but not through us.

Session cookies

These cookies only last as long as your online session and disappear from your computer or device when you close your browser (like Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox).

Persistent cookies

These cookies stay on your computer or device after your browser has been closed and last for a time specified in the cookie. We use persistent cookies when we need to know who you are for more than one browsing session. For example, we use them to remember your preferences for the next time you visit. This makes your experience when using our website easier, more fluid and slicker.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies let you use all the different parts of the Flixel Studios website. Without them, services that you’ve asked for can’t be provided. Also, as a service provider, we collect data from you to help us understand how people are using the our website and services, so we can make it better.

Some examples of how we use these cookies are:

  • When you sign in to the website.

  • Remembering security settings that affect access to certain content, for example, any parental controls

Functional cookies

These help us personalise the Flixel Studios services to you by remembering your preferences and settings. Some examples of how we use these cookies are:

  • Remembering your choice of products and favourite content and help you do things like commenting on a blog.

  • Remembering if you visited the website before so that messages for new visitors are not displayed to you

  • Remembering where you stopped completing a form, so that when you return to it, you don't need to repeat enter the content.

Performance cookies

These help us make sure that the website is working properly and fix any errors. And they let us try out different ideas.

Advertising cookies

Some websites use advertising networks to show you specially targeted adverts when you visit. These networks may also be able to track your browsing across different sites. We don’t set advertising cookies. We think it is invasive and do not agree with that practice. We know that you're wise enough to go find the adverts and products that you will want to buy elsewhere yourself.

Other tracking technologies

Some sites use things like web beacons, clear GIFs, page tags and web bugs to understand how people are using them and to target advertising to them.

They usually take the form of a small, transparent image that is embedded in a web page or email. They work with cookies and capture data like your IP address, when you viewed the page or email, what device you were using and where you were. We do not believe this is appropriate and Fixel Studios do not and will never adopt this practice.

Accessibilty

Flixel Studios accessibility policy

In keeping with our determination to always do right by everyone, and our obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act, Flixel Studios will ensure that its media is accessible to people who have visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments. This is a new website (as of 9th March 2024), and we are working constantly to ensure that (over time), we strive to meet our obligations to provide an accessible website and service to everyone.

Accessibility is a partnership between Flixel Studios and creators of content and technologies which many disabled users employ to allow them, for example, to view websites in easier-to-read colours, with larger fonts, or as spoken text.

As such technologies have become more available and sophisticated, the BBC will:

  • Ensure that its media work well with these assistive technologies to ensure an accessible experience for disabled users.

  • Provide the 'Accessibility Help' site which will guide users in customising their computers (either by explaining the accessibility features of their operating systems or browser, or by introducing them to the range of assistive technologies which are available) to provide them with the most accessible web experience.

Flixel Studios will also work with those in the wider accessibility community to support the future development of these technologies and the standards that allow all websites to be created to work best for them.

Accessibility is a work in progress for Flixel Studios and one which we take very seriously. Users and customers who have accessibility needs are always welcome to offer advice and feedback to help us become an accessibility standard setter.
